There are many exciting birding sites in Skåne (Scania), just across the Øresund from Denmark – and with Why Not Birds? you have the opportunity to experience them and their birdlife on guided birding tours in southern Sweden. Based in Copenhagen, I offer full-day tours to some of the best birding areas in Skåne – within 1–2 hours’ drive from the Danish capital. Here, varied landscapes and habitats provide a rich diversity of birdlife and outstanding birding and nature experiences. On a full-day tour, you can make the most of a trip to Sweden. It gives us time to explore a site at a relaxed pace, cover a larger area in more depth, and visit several different locations and habitats – increasing the chances of good and varied birding experiences. If time is limited, a half-day tour can be a good option if you still want to get out and experience the birds in exciting surroundings – for example, on a morning or afternoon tour.
