Course - Join four bird walks and learn the songs of our common birds
Most people associate birdsong with spring and summer. But which birds are singing and how can you tell them apart? If you want to get to know the songs of our most common birds, or you need to refresh your birdsong identification skills - you'll benefit from this practical bird course. On four morning walks - we will start early and on a fixed day of the week - we head out into the beautiful nature of Møn and experience, listen to and practice the songs of different birds throughout the spring. We start at the end of March, when species such as tits, thrushes and treecreepers sing. At this time, there are fewer species to keep track of. During April and May, more species such as Willow Warbler, Lesser Whitethroat, Blackcap and redstart arrive and join the chorus of birds. By late May and early June, the last migratory birds are also returning from their stay during winter in far more southerly climes, including Thrush Nightingale, Whitethroat, Garden Warbler and Marsh Warblers. We will concentrate on the songs of the most common species, but will of course also listen to the birds we hear or see on the tours. After four tours, you will be able to distinguish the songs of the most common Danish birds. In addition, you will have great birding and nature experiences and you will feel the calmness of immersing yourself in what our surroundings have to offer.
The aim is to get to know and learn the songs of our most common birds and be able to distinguish them from each other. Course content
The tours are on foot. We walk quietly and at a leisurely pace, stopping along the way to listen to the birds singing and review and practice the characteristics of the different songs.

Can you imagine a world without birds? I can't! I have been an avid and passionate birdwatcher from an early age, and therefore have many years of experience in birdwatching. I have extensive local knowledge of the birdlife of Møn and Nyord. That also goes for all the sites where we arrange birdwatching tours. In addition to being a bird tour guide, I also participate in monitoring and ringing of birds. Furthermore, I am a blogger writing about birds and travels. Uffe Damm Andersen
All the bird tours take place on Møn (including Ulvshale Skov, Nyord, Klinteskoven). Determine the actual location for the individual trips a few days in advance (alternatively on the day itself depending on the weather conditions and the birds). Transport to and from the locations is your own responsibility (possibly with the option of carpooling).
Always small groups, max. 4 people* on tours. The perfect choice for people who like to travel alone or in small groups with family or friends. *If you are a family of more than 4 people, please contact us for more information.
