Join us on four birding tours and experience the birdsongs of spring
Most people associate birdsong with spring and summer. But which birds are singing and how do you tell the difference between them? If you want to experience the birdsong of spring, and you want to learn how to identify the different birds by their songs, or you need to refresh your birdsong identification skills - then you will enjoy this birding tour package. On four mornings - we start early and on a fixed weekday - we visit some of the beautiful landscapes of Møn, and experience the birdsong throughout the spring. We start at the end of March, when species such as tits, thrushes and Chaffinches are singing. At this time there are fewer species to keep track of. During April and May, several species arrive, e.g. warblers and redstarts, and join the chorus of birds. At the end of May and the beginning of June, the last migratory birds are also about to return , e.g. Thrush Nightingales, Whitethroats, Garden Warblers and March Warblers. After four tours, you will be able to identify the most common Danish birds from one another by their song. In addition, you will have good birding and nature experiences and you will feel the peace of immersing yourself in what our surroundings have to offer.
Practical informations
The birding package consists of four tours of three hours duration - on a fixed weekday, from the end of March to mid-June. The focus is to experience and learn the different birdsongs. All tours start at 7:00 am and ends approx. at 10:00 am. Dates for the individual birding packages can be seen below. Choose the package you prefer (e.g. Birdsong Mondays).

The tours take place on foot. We walk quietly and at a leisurely pace and stop along the way and listen to the birds singing, we practice and review the characteristics of the different songs.
There will be time to have a "coffee break" during the tours.
We visit various Møn bird sites (including Ulvshale Skov, Jydelejet and Klinteskoven). The final planning takes place immediately before the individual tours, in that way it is possible to adjust according to weather, wind and birds.

What to bring
Binoculars*, practical footwear and clothing. Please also bring coffee/tea and a small snack/packed lunch. The tours take place on foot and there will be time and the opportunity for a "coffee break" along the way.
Small groups
Maximum of 4 participants* on each trip. The perfect choice for people who like to travel alone or in small groups with family or friends. Please note that this is not a “private” tour. This means that there may be participants you do not know beforehand. But it is an obvious opportunity to get to know new people with the same interest. *If you are a family or a group of friends of more than 4 people, contact us and find out more.
Your birding guide
Can you imagine a world without birds? I can't! I have been an avid and passionate birdwatcher from an early age, and therefore have many years of experience in birdwatching. I have extensive local knowledge of the birdlife of Møn and Nyord and all the sites where we arrange birdwatching tours. Locality/Where
All the bird tours take place on Møn (including Ulvshale Skov, Nyord, Klinteskoven). Determine the actual location for the individual trips a few days in advance (alternatively on the day itself depending on the weather conditions and the birds). Transport to and from the locations is your own responsibility (possibly with the option of carpooling).
