Validity

Date of the Birdwatching Tour

When purchasing a birdwatching tour from Why Not Birds? to be given as a gift, a date for the tour must be set. This is necessary to avoid scheduling conflicts, as we cannot run multiple birdwatching tours at the same time!

Therefore, a gifted birdwatching tour cannot be redeemed and held on an arbitrary day without prior agreement on a specific date and time.

The agreed/planned date can be changed by mutual agreement between Why Not Birds? and the recipient of the gift card (or alternatively the giver/purchaser).

The tour/the amount paid cannot be exchanged for cash.

As we cannot guarantee availability on other dates, we recommend that the recipient contacts us as soon as possible if they wish to change the scheduled date.

Validity Period

The birdwatching tour must be held on an agreed date within the validity period of the tour agreement. The validity period may vary depending on the type of tour, but is generally valid for up to 12 months unless otherwise agreed.

The validity period will be stated in the purchase agreement/booking confirmation, which is sent as/via email to the buyer. It will also appear on any greeting card we can provide (see below).

Number of Participants

Our birdwatching tours are always conducted in small groups with a maximum of 4 participants, which also applies to tours given as gifts. By special agreement, the number of participants may be increased – for example, if the tour is for a family with more than 4 members.

The number of participants will also be stated on any greeting card we can provide (see below).

Greeting Card

Why Not Birds? offers to create a greeting card that can be given to the recipient. This must be agreed upon at the time of purchase.

If so, Why Not Birds? will produce a greeting card in PDF format and send it via email after receiving payment. We always aim to deliver as quickly as possible after payment has been received.

If a physical greeting card is requested, a delivery fee will be added to the total price. The card will then be sent via PostNord. Please note that Why Not Birds? cannot guarantee that the card will arrive on time.

Right of withdrawal

A full 14-day right of withdrawal applies to the purchase unless otherwise agreed or stated in your order.

The 14-day period begins on the date the purchase is made.

Requests to exercise the right of withdrawal must be sent via email to kontakt@whynotbirds.com. The message must clearly state your intention to make use of the right of withdrawal.

If a congratulatory card has been delivered (or sent) before the right of withdrawal is exercised, the information and details it contains will no longer be valid or usable for a birdwatching tour. The congratulatory card does not need to be returned.

Please note: The amount paid/the value of the birdwatching tour cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash by the recipient.
